National Coalition President visits 'Syria through Innocent Eyes'

National Coalition president, Shaikh Ahmed Muaz Al-Khatib visits 'Syria Through Innocent Eyes' the exhibition which shows the Syrian struggle through paintings of children refugees.

Sheikh Ahmed Muaz Al-Khatib, President of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, was with the company of the prominent member of the coalition Dr. Burhan Ghalioun during his visit on March 28th to the exhibition display done by SBF at Souq Waqif Art Center in Doha, Qatar.

Al-Khatib expressed his admiration of the great effort that had been done by the Syrian children and how they reflected the bitterness of Syrian life during the war on the Syrian people.

The exhibition is the outcome of an art project which had been done at the Syrian-Turkish borders in Yeldadag refugee camp. 'Free childhood' project concentrated on the atrocities of Assad's regime and the impact it had on children by having them express their feeling through drawing paintings.

For his part, Mr. Mazen Dauleh, CEO of SBF, assured the importance of Al-Khatib’s visit and mentioned the forums initiative that seeks to carry out other similar exhibitions abroad in Arab and western cities where the voice of Syrian children can be heard through art.
