The Syrian Business Forum opened on Tuesday morning, 5/3/2013, the exhibition "Syria through Innocent Eyes" in Alwakef Arts Center in collaboration with the Centre and the Qatar Foundation.

 

The exhibition that lasts 10days, contains more than 100 paintings drawn by Refugees Camps children in Turkey, part of a project carried out by the Forum near Kielce Turkish camp as "free childhood."

The paintings payout will go to relief work which is under the supervision of 'Qatar Charity' Association.

The Syrian Business Forum sponsored the Free Childhood project which was held near Yalda’s refugee camp on the Syrian-Turkish border led by Syrian film director Walid Kowatli and a number of Syrian artists.

The Syrian Business Forum (SBF) sponsored the launch of the Free Syrian Athletes Union on Tuesday 18th of September 2012 in Doha, Qatar. The Union was announced by its new board consisting of its president Mr. Yahya Kurdi, an SBF board member and Ambassador of the UNICIF, Mr. Mohammad Yasser Al-Hallaq, Mr. Nizar Kharrat, and Mr. Mohammad Najjar.

 

 

The newly appointed ambassador to France of the Syrian National coalition and some 400 activists boarded a special ‘Train for Freedom in Syria’ in Paris on Tuesday, December 11, to head to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, to call for a change of leadership in the war-torn country " and to spread their message of support for the new opposition coalition and plead for help in the European Parliament. The Train-Trip was under the auspices of the Syrian Business Forum. One the most active opposition groups who supports Syrian revolution.

 

The Friends of Syria Working Group on Economic Recovery and Development welcomed the outstanding efforts by Syrian businessmen in organizing support for the revolution through the Syrian Business Forum. The final statement called upon all businessmen and businesswomen to join such concerted efforts and contribute to the building and shaping of the Syrian economy in the transitional phase.

Sheikh Ahmed Muaz Al-Khatib, President of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, was with the company of the prominent member of the coalition Dr. Burhan Ghalioun during his visit on March 28th to the exhibition display done by SBF at Souq Waqif Art Center in Doha, Qatar.

The Syrian Business forum held a meeting with presence of Ghassan Hito, Syrian Transitional Government Prime Minister, George Sabra, SNC president, and Mustafa Sabbagh, Secretary General of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces and Chairman of SBF

 

The Syrian Business Forum pledges $100,000 to support relief efforts directed to the area of Deir al-Zour, which suffers from horrific living conditions and disastrous health circumstances.
